World Creativity Day and Innovation Day is April 21: A celebration of expression, innovation and flair

DID YOU KNOW: Tapping into your creative energies can give you a new lease of life, making you feel happy and free? So how would you like to take it up a notch? On World Creativity and Innovation Day, this year  –  it’s time to get in touch with your creative side and there are plenty of ways you can do this. Being creative can help you:

Being creative and innovative can change the world
“I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do.” ― Leonardo da Vinci
This month, as well as celebrating World Creativity and Innovation Day, we also celebrate Leonardo da Vinci’s birthday! FAST FACT: Da Vinci would technically be turning 567 years this month. Keeping in mind the high bars that Da Vinci has set for brilliance, if we are not striving enough to think differently about the world, are we trying at all? What if Leonardo Da Vinci had not made optimum use of the right side of his brain? Da Vinci, who is often remembered mostly for being an artist, is not credited enough for his innovations. Some came to life, while others remained sketches on paper, but he is known to have shaken up many fields with his out-of-the-box ideas. A parachute, flight, military tank, maps, a diving suit, a musical instrument, human anatomy, a robot – these ideas unstoppable!

Taking inspiration from his insatiable curiosity, here’s a thought, imagine the staggering creations da Vinci could have come up within these times if he had access to advanced and modern tools like laser cutters and 3D printers? Maybe he was the one to create them?!

How to be more creative these quite months of isolation and no work.
Laser cutting, while it might not have been created by da Vinci, can help you get creative this month.
